Welcome to the
section of my site which will be dedicated to the mind, exploration,
questions, theories, and anything else that i manage to come up
with.
The main home for my writings in this regard is my blog.
the subsections of this page will eventually start to fill with
more in depth content.
In a way, i love the fact that in the current state, the pages
are blank, like the uncarved block of taoism.
Write
between the eyes will be dedicated to finished writings that take
on a form more of article or discourse. writings meant to hit
you right between the eyes.
Philosophical ponderings... will be an area of loose ideas, ranting,
just getting ideas out of me & into a somewhat transferable
form. I have a feeling that this section will be full of contradictions.
amusings
will be simple observations. what i witness in my day to day world,
odd stories that come my way, stuff like that.
The MOST
IMPORTANT thing to keep in mind when reading ANYTHING that I write
or pass on is that I do NOT believe in absolutes. I am an In-betweener.
I do not claim objectivity because true objectivity does not exist.Everything
that I write & say will always be colored by my current worldview,
no matter how much i try to see all sides.
I intend to use the proper language to explain myself (whatever
that may be), and not fall prey to over simplified wordplay that
is used to reinforce an idea or pursuade you into a belief. This
will be tough, as i am a very passionate person.
All of my ideas tend to revolve around one central theme: There
is a oneness that connects all, that cannot trutly be defined,
but is understood through "reality metaphors/ templates",
be they of "religious", "secular", "spiritual",or
"idiotic" nature. This onenes is full of paradox &
manifests in any way it chooses. Infinite expression. All attempts
to standardize this process are arrogant humanist attempts to
rid the self of the fear of not being in control. Basically, anything
that works against plurality & multiplicity is entropic in
nature, and does not support life. Notice, there is no mention
of "good" or "evil" here. They are purely
products of the human understanding. They are in no way absolute.
(this very much scares those that do not have faith in themselves
or other humans)
My mission (for lack of a better word) as i see it is to attempt
to bring people into deepness. There are many many things to become
knowledgeable about. Many become so obsessed with aquiring knowledge
that they never seek wisdom, never seek the depths of an area
of inquiry. They mistake the crests of the oceans waves for the
ocean itself. When one takes the steps to dive deeper into knowing,
this is when wisdom can happen, when authentic synthesis becomes
available, and one no longer has to manufacture a belief system
or truth due to natures own natural exposition of its nature.
It is simply a matter of wiping one's eyes clear, and walking
the path to awareness.
I hope
that my writings and foolishness shed both light & dark on
many things, both for my readers and for myself.
I am not interested in being correct, inoffensive, or any of that.
I want to question myself and my own beliefs as much as all else.
Always remember this, I AM AS CRITICAL OF MY SELF AS I AM OF ALL
ELSE. A STATEMENT I MAKE DOES NOT INCLUDE YOUR ASSUMPTIONS THAT
YOU MAY MAKE IN REGARDS TO IT. Do NOT assume that if i say one
thing, that which it brings to your mind is also included. That
would be a product of YOUR understanding & not my saying.
Any Criticism I bring forth is not meant o raise myself higher,
it is not based on my Ego or need to be correct. It is a problem
solver asking v alid questions. sometimes this will not be in
regard to how it affects others, other times it will be imbedded
in absolute compassion.
I am a living process, a verb, as bucky fuller would say.
I think
this is an important wuestion for us all to ask ourselves. Do
we see ourselves as nouns or verbs? are we our actions or our
physicalness? where is the line drawn between the two, if there
can even truly be a distinction.
When it all comes down to it, in world that is increasingly finding
an equilibrium that may not include human expression of the one,
it is most important, if we wish to survive as a species, to ask
the question "What works?". to look at our reality templates
as problem solvers, and be willing to cast away that which is
detrimental to the continuence of the human race.
Like an Osho or a Bucky Fuller, my aim is to live my life as an
experiment. I've yet to accept the totality of that decision,
as it completely changes the way one lives, not making for an
ease of being within a society increasingly obsessed with CONTROL.
But such is my path, and i have no plans on turning back...
namaste,
